The City of Wetaskiwin, along with the County of Wetaskiwin, envisions a state-of-the-art aquatic & fitness facility that will offer everyone in the region the benefit of a unique recreational experience.
The Manluk Centre: Wetaskiwin Regional Aquatics & Fitness is the realization of that vision. Opening in Spring 2014, the Manluk Centre will offer a wide variety of aquatic and fitness opportunities, including:
- 25-metre, six-lane Wetaskiwin Co-op Competition Pool
- Wetaskiwin Credit Union Lazy River
- BoardRider® surf system (one of a kind in Western Canada)
- Supreme International waterslides (there are two)
- Moussa Group of Pools: a tots pool with spray features and a three-lane leisure pool
- Denham Ford Whirlpool (with space for 25)
- Fitness facility on the second floor
- Wetaskiwin Trans Comm Services Party Room (main floor)
